Frances-Higgins Projects (FHP) are working with a well known high voltage engineering company specialising in electrical power infrastructure, grid connections and renewable generation. As the company is rapidly growing throughout 2021, they are seeking a number of JIB Approved electricians to join the well developed team. (Roles in both Scotland and England) We are looking for the successful electrician to carry out the below duties:
Electrical installations including; lighting and power, cable tray/ladder, cable installation, switchgear installation.
Carry out Inspections and testing to both new and existing installations.
To provide assistance to the HV teams on larger site installations.
Carry out work in a safe manner, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
Project a professional image to clients and colleagues.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
JIB/ ECS card.
Time served Approved Electrician having served recognised apprenticeship to 17th /18th Edition.
Inspection Testing (2391 or equivalent).
Experience of working within the electrical power sector desirable.
Experience working on Commercial & Industrial installations.
Must hold a full UK driving licence.
Must be willing to work away from home
In return, our client is looking to build a long lasting working relationship with the successful candidate. They are paying a competitive salary and there are also share options within the business.
This can be either full time/permanent or there is an option to start as a contractor (CIS) and then go permanent after an agreed period.
Salary: £17.15 (equating to approximately £35k PA).
